Hidden Paradise offers a wide range of engaging outdoor and creative activities, including canoeing, fishing, archery, hiking, ropes courses, arts and crafts, sports, horseback experiences, and campfire gatherings—all designed to inspire adventure, connection, and personal growth in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Archery

Test your aim on this popular 3-D archery course, featuring fun targets like dinosaurs, bullseyes, and more. Archery equipment—including bows and arrows—is provided, so all you need to do is head to the range and start shooting!

Amphitheater

Carved into the hillside, this outdoor amphitheater is home to impactful gatherings and memorable performances. The amphitheater features log benches cut into the hillside looking down on a stage and two fire rings. It is a great spot for cooking smores, singing silly songs, or enjoying a good book. And if you are putting on a show, you can use the lights and sound systems.

Bike Trails

Three mountain bike courses include a child-friendly, all-accessible course for campers learning to ride or with restrictions; a more challenging course for teens and adults looking for skills-building or just a good work-out; and a trail ride for teens and adults looking for a longer excursion. Also provided are adaptive bikes, including handcycles, tricycles, recumbent bikes, and tandem options, to meet a variety of physical needs and abilities.

Hammock Village

Welcome to our hammock village. A relaxing outdoor space featuring a cluster of hammocks strung between sturdy structures, creating a peaceful, communal area for lounging. It’s designed for rest and connection with nature, offering a tranquil retreat for individuals or groups to unwind in comfort.

Horse Arena

This space was built with a dream in mind and is complete with a lift for those in wheelchairs. While we do not own horses, there are several local groups that will bring horses to camp for your use. If horses are not available or that’s not your priority, it is a great outdoor activity area.

Playground

At the heart of camp is an accessible playground is designed to ensure that children of all abilities can play together. It includes inclusive equipment such as ramps, a merry-go-round that fits a wheelchair, and accessible swings. It also includes smooth, navigable surfaces and supportive seating to provide a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Hidden Paradise has a large pond that can be used for water activities. If you are planning a water day, canoes and peddle boats are provided for your enjoyment. For experienced and new anglers, you have access to the equipment you need, including fishing rods.

Ropes Course

This course features challenges for every level and has paths for all abilities. Ropes course games are a great way to build connection and camaraderie. And sometimes we have a staff member on site who is trained in leading the games—ask about this option if you are interested.

Sports Court

The sports court is where you go to play basketball, pickleball, volleyball, or other games. With the space and equipment provided, including nets and balls, all you have to do is show up and have fun.

You have access to additional amenities too, including yard games like a ga-ga pit and 9-square; giant outside games like chess, Connect 4, and Tetras; and board games and puzzles in the lodge. Plus, golf carts are available for your use for a fee.
