Camp Rainbow Gold means the world to me. I have been a part of this organization since I was six years old, that’s ten years! It has directly impacted my life in a very positive way.

Camp has allowed me to make lifelong friends! Friends that I hang out with outside of the meetings and camps on a regular basis. These friends are like no others. They are a unique group of people who have had their own struggles with cancer in similar ways. We connect on a deeper level than most can.

Camp Rainbow Gold has taught me many lessons that are relevant to everyday life like fear, grief, and overcoming challenges. Camp has allowed me to be able to come alongside new campers and welcome them into our group so they too can feel loved and accepted. I would not be the same person I am today if I had not been able to attend camp these last ten years. I am forever grateful and can’t wait for the next camp this summer!
